need excuse ideas

I love my very large family!! But I don’t want to go to all the family functions.. Still, the only way to get out of it without my mothers guilt trip is to lie. I’ve used the I have a job thing, a friends birthday, even a serious date.. Now what.??

   How about studying for an exam; people generally steer clear of swaying others away from studying. There’s a sense of priority.
