My Son

I told my son that I couldn’t take him to the movies because I had work to do but it was really because I was going on a date and wasn’t ready to tell him about this guy??? I feel horrible

   Arent you allowed to have a life to?? Dont make it a habit because you wouldnt want him to do it to you and you probably could of come up with a different more hones answer but dont get on yourself.. On a different topic… how was the date??

   just try not to make it a habit otherwise your kid will pick up on it and eventually it will blow up in your face.

   Hi Amy,

   I’ve been single for 8 years. And I can tell you, to protect my daughter I’ve done the same thing on a few occasions because I didn’t know how she would feel about her Mom being on a date. Our children are very protective, so we have to be careful about what we expose them to. I can tell you’re a caring Mother, you’ll figure it out and will be just fine.
