Yesterday my daughter came home from school and told me that the report cards were delayed and she was not going to get one till next week. 5 minutes later her teacher calls me about her grades. 4 A’s and 1 F.I wish she would feel more comfortable just confronting me about it.

i dont like to lie! but the worst is when you have to so the other person does\’nt get hurt. You would think im talking about a bf or something but the worst is when you have to lie to your parents.. My mom is a lesbian and for years it was super hard to look my dad in the face and pretend i didnt know. To lie to him and to other family members.. I guess i felt i had to protect my mom and at the same time i though it would hurt my dad to know that I knew.. Do you think i did the right thing?
